Before Root Canal Therapy

If you are planning on having treatment started at your first visit, please eat a meal prior to your appointment as you will be instructed not to eat for at least 1 hour following treatment. Please continue to take all normal medications. If you have any special needs or questions before your appointment please let us know in advance so we may be of help to you. More than likely you will have local anesthetic that will normally last for aproxmitaly 3 hours so be prepared for the normal “numb” feeling after the procedure.
